The Wilson Glass Top Hung Sliding Heavy Glass Door
Close Out Item. Can't get more of these. All we have left are the very large rollers.
The rollers and track should be covered, so the size and looks don't matter anyway.
Large Rollers are overkill for less than half the price of the second lowest priced system.

One kit has two large roller assemblies with a total of 16 ball bearing rollers. Also included is the ball bearing bottom guide, stops interior to the track and wrenches for adjusting the height. $89.00

The top Rail holds the weight of the door and is Champagne colored. If you want two sliding doors that bypass, then you need to have two tracks.
Fixed panels can be installed in a variety of ways, such as top and bottom U-Channel. Fixed panels are essentially installed separate but adjacent to the sliding door.

THE HOLES: This design requires 4 holes in the glass. Other brands, such as the EPCO, do not, however other brands are many times the cost.
The hole allows the clamp to tighten down more on the glass. The glass does not hang from the hole.

The drawback: 1/2" Glass is a problem. It can be done with custom gaskets but I recommend 3/8" to keep things simple. The hole is too close to the edge for 1/2" Glass. This means that the hole has to be relieved by cutting a saw kerf from the edge to the hole. Otherwise there will be too much stress in the tempering oven. The hole is a complication compared to Hafele and EPCO but it actually makes the whole system much stronger and safer.

Patti's house has three sliding doors. Coarse sandblasted glass with flat bars applied to make a Heavy Glass Shoji.
Forground shows the smaller rollers (out of stock) with cover track removed. Background shows another door with cover tracks installed.

The EPCO Rectangular Patch system is very similar.

The system can be left exposed or covered with an extruded aluminum cover plate in clear or bronze anodized. Alternatively, sheet metal of several different finishes can be used as a cover. Photos of Bronze Anodized Cover Plate.

The rollers are nylon with ball bearings for smooth quiet operation. They can be slid back and forth in relation to the Patch Fitting Body if necessary. There are eight rollers per patch for a total of 16 rollers per panel of glass.

Included are the end caps (not worth much) and stamped wrenches needed for tightening the nuts and bolts.

Two of these Patch Fittings will hold 400 lbs. which is a large safety factor for any normal sized door.

Two patch fitings are included per package. Each patch could be cut in half to make rollers for four doors.

Track: $10 per foot.

Typical 72" track and rollers equals $149.00 shipping is $40 to any one of 48 states.

The blue stops are hidden inside the track at any position to provide a snap closed and open feature.
The ball bearing bottom guide keeps the door from swinging and can be adjusted to fit 3/8 to 1/2".
