SLIDER HOME - LAGUNA - RALLY - EPCO - RECTANGULAR - U-PATCH - CW - 3-PANEL - COTTAGE
The Wilson Glass Top Hung Sliding Heavy Glass Door
We are going to phase this out. We have about 10 sets left. This system is cheaper than the EPCO system but not really as good. If you want this system we still have it for a little while. But I suggest using the EPCO version.

The top Rail holds the weight of the door and is Champagne colored. If you want two sliding doors that bypass, then you need to have two tracks.
Fixed panels can be installed in a variety of ways, such as top and bottom U-Channel. Fixed panels are essentially installed separate but adjacent to the sliding door.

THE HOLES: This design requires a hole in the glass. Other brands do not, however other brands are many times the cost.
The Hole costs $10 to $20 but the hardware is still much cheaper. The hole allows the clamp to tighten down more on the glass. The glass does not hang from the hole.

The drawback: The hole is too close to the edge for 1/2" Glass. This means that the hole has to be relieved by cutting a saw kerf from the edge to the hole. Otherwise there will be too much stress in the tempering oven. Most tempering plants know about this and it is standard practice. Most do not even charge extra. The hole is a complication compared to Hafele and EPCO but it actually makes the whole system much stronger and safer.
